About Me - Bob Roe

I am retired Boeing Executive and married to my wife, Jane since 1991. We have three children and six grandchildren. We both grew up in Washington state but were drawn to the majestic beauty of Montana in the spring of 2013. We finished building our home there in the fall of 2016. I enjoy hiking, but love to get out on the river to fly fish as often as possible!

While growing up in Seattle, I enjoyed athletics in a variety of sports, including swimming, basketball, baseball, and golf. As an adult, my many hours of working led to the typical poor daily habits that effected my health. In December of 2008, I had a heart attack and my wife and I were both overweight. It became clear to us that the unhealthy effects of processed food and poor choices had taken it’s toll so my wife and I began to make intentional lifestyle changes. I quit smoking, we were reading labels, and being intentional about what we were eating. Over the next year and a half, I had lost 30 lbs and Jane lost over 50lbs. This gave us a new lease on life and enabled a more active lifestyle.
